Greenhills: Leching Too, Subarashii

We scheduled a day to Greenhills to do some errand all at once.
First, we need to claim our SMACdeals 50% discount voucher from PetExpress \^_^/

Then we went to Greenhills Shopping Center to buy some stuff.

Days before, M was already asking me where we gonna eat at Greenhills and I remember Ms. January's post about Leching so I suggested it. It is located at the G/F of Shoppesville.

I like the siomai (P95) which tastes like it has some hint of shrimps and it is not bland like other siomais. Their signature spareribs rice (P158) is served in a stainless bowl , although it has few black beans and sauce, the meat are tender, juicy and kinda sweet. It's been a while since we ate a good dimsum and everything tastes better with a chili toyomansi ;)

Then we went to Subarashii just a few meters away from LeChing.
It is a small kiosk that sells Japanese sweets and goodies. They are actually known for selling different flavors of Kitkat.

What I'm really after was some Matcha powdered drink. I got a box of Maxim for P195.
I tried it at home with cold water, it is not overly strong and bitter, comparable with a milk tea consistency and I only need to add a few sugar :D

It seems like I am into Matcha at the moment :)

Have a great week ahead!

Sugarleaf at Greenhills

We finally visited Sugarleaf and treated ourselves with healthy food. :) This store/cafe meant to be a one -stop shop for healthy stuffs/ a mini mart of locally sourced organic products, more info about them here

We shared a glass of  refreshing strawberry kefir smoothie topped with chia seeds  (Php150)
Kefir is also a cultured milk products like yogurt but with more health benefits.

And then we tried their goody wraps: Vegetarian wrap(with apple and cucumber) (P148) and
Crab Mango Wrap (w/c we both like best) (P188).
It was very filling that I was not able to finish my plate.

There were stands full of health goodies and some interesting stuff I found like the malunggay polvoron and mango tams.

I also saw some trail mix, nuts, vegetable quiche to name a few in the glass chiller.

I want a lot of stuffs to buy but I am only set to buy this raw cacao nibs (at P200)  for now.
I've been on the hunt of raw chocolates for the past weeks, I thought I might as well try this.

YenYen Taiwan Street Food at Greenhills

Finally tried YenYen in Greenhills. I chanced upon their 50% off deal from metrodeal yey!

Dumplings
Spicy Wonton
8pcs servings for their Dimsums. The spicy wonton has tolerable spiciness.

My cha chang noodles came late.. It's a wheat noodles, topped with mung bean sprouts, cucumber, tofu.
It was good, not too salty and the cucumber added some crunch. ;) This is one of their bestsellers.
Chachang Noodles

Wintermelon Juice
We noticed that their sauces are a kinda sweet. Is that taiwan's style? The dumpling sauce is like the one used for xiao long bao, the wonton's spicy sauce is a bit sweet too and even the chachang noodles.
We still prefer toyomansi for dimsums. But it's nice to try a different taste sometimes ;p
