Pet Zoom Loungee

mike took the remaining two puppies for their house in Laguna. At least, I'll have a peace of mind that they'll be in good hands. They've endured 3 long hours on road! Because of winding road, the white puppy vomited, other than that they are well-behaved passengers. Thanks to Petzoom Loungee that we bought from Shyshop, cost us Php215 only. :)

Sofitel Spiral Buffet

I attended a retreat last Friday and we had our lunch at Spiral.

I finally got to try this buffet! surprisingly, I didn't overeat :)

My first plate, some veggies and from japanese section

 2nd Plate, veggie dumplings, broccoli, japchae, kimchi and kimchi pancake

3rd plate, Miso soup, nuts, olives, dates and some from indian cuisine

 

lastly my dessert! (hindi pa gitna ang kuha) lolz!

Later in the afternoon, we had cocktails in the sunset pavillion.

It was very windy that afternoon! Overall, great food with equally great company, we all had a good time :)

Simple Foods

Some of our recent eats (aside from my favorite Adobong Broccoli and favorites ), I also love preparing these foods.

I call them simple foods ;p  they only have 3 or less ingredients and nothing too elaborate.

Tortang talong, cucumber

 Boiled Kangkong and Egg, Rice with Turmeric powder

Cucumber, Spinach, Olives, tomatoes, sprinkled with sesame seeds

Enchanted Farm Golden Eggs  (organic salted duck egg)

Boiled beans and carrots for lunch

A warm bowl of oats, sprinkled with flax seeds and a bit of coco sugar 

Kanzhu

Grocery time at hypermarket :) we had our late dinner at Kanzhu. I already blogged our first time here

where they served us free sweet peanuts, no more of that now but it's ok

We shared this Beef Noodles Php160 for that 2 bowls 

Simple noodle soup but  makes you feel warm and comforting. 

Soups are definitely a must for cold weather :)

We also tasted their Hakaw Php125.  toyomansi and crunchy shrimps! mmmm

It's raining non stop. Stay Safe everyone!

Chuck's Grub at Megamall

I already had an entry about Chuck's Grub in Pasig here. I remember how soft their fish was so we 

availed the Ensogo promo (199 only for 400 worth), this time in Megamall. 

The voucher is applicable only for Fish&Chips and Burger meals.

We both ordered their burger combo, comes with fries, dips and drinks.

I love my fish burger, soft, very tasty and the batter was crunchy. =)  

The fries serving was also generous that I can't finish it alone.

Wolverine, MochiSweets, Eat Well

The Wolverine movie has an interesting story, i love all the fight scenes esp the train scene and I also like the character of Yukio she is just soo astig :).

If not for some weird moments and that model-actress who played Mariko (she did not act very well and so plain and boring arrgh!!) this could have been a great movie. Anyway, it's good to see Hugh Jackman again. I like it when he has that wolverine beard, looking beastly and manly, not the clean, shaved one ;p

Saturday, we had a very long day. We went early for dentist appointment , passed by our house in Laguna, played with the puppies(I also made a video) and then to MOA to avail our Pet Express from SMACDeals (Php1K worth of Alpo Dogs for only P500) savings yey  :)

And then we tried Mochi Sweets (located near the Ice skating rink). We chose the Sakura flavor and Black Sesame. They both tastes good :)

After our grocery, we had our dinner at Eat Well Delicious Kitchen

We love the noodle soup(P225), very flavorful and filling that we had the Spareribs in hotpot (P250) for takeout. Their mint iced tea (P65) unfortunately was not very 'minty'.

Healthy Inspiration: First Time

These are last week meals and some are repeat for this weekend ;p

those are dried mushroom about P25 per pack and I soaked it in water before I stir-fried with bellpepper and onion :))

Fried Salmon Belly with Bellpepper

I had never tried cooking salmon at home, i always thought they are expensive, but I saw a pack of frozen salmon belly at about P95-120 :))

 Sugarleaf Spanish Sardines - no msg, no artificial flavors, natural sea salt  :))))

I can eat this everyday!

For breakfast,

ummm I forgot how to cook pancakes =_= 

this is supposed to be wheat pancakes sprinkled with oats and flax seeds 

my first time to buy Flax Seeds from Healthy Options P180/pack

and also my very first maruya, (plantain in wheat flour) ;p

At the same time, I missed homecooked meals 

the last time I went home in Laguna we had fried GG, pinakbet and for sunday, I woke up with fried rice and daing  for breakfast
