Furry Love: Spayed

For the past week, meron kaming pasyente
We needed to clean her wound and apply Dermaclens twice a day, made her drink antibiotic 3x a day, and supplement once a day. We also fed her small frequent meals.

our big girl

Surprisingly, she learned how to removed her cone so I put clothes on her to prevent her from licking her wound

lambing much

Actually, she is our first dog that undergone this surgery. Giving away our puppies in the past made me sad and what more, some of them passed away, some grew unloved because their new owners only love them when they are cute and small.

According to the vet, it is better to have your furry loves to be spayed earlier so that their uterus is still small and it still at low risk. She was confined for 2 days and so our bill amounted to 5k++  (P5k spay, P650 for blood exam) pesoses! But anyway,  it is good for her health and in that way, we'll not be able to add to the overpopulated and unloved furries.

Thanks to PetWonders Vet Clinic for taking good care of Snowbell :))

Jeff and Monet's Wedding

Another wedding! It was a Christian wedding wherein the ceremony and reception was held at Paradiso De Oblifias in Lucban Quezon.
I noticed that they did all the elements or Filipino traditions in the wedding program,  it started at around 9:00AM and ended at 2PM.
My favorite part in the ceremony was when they released 2 boxes of butterflies in honor of their fathers with a teary speech from the bride, that for me was very very touching.

For the Furry Friend: Groovin Tags

When we passed by this stall in Megamall 4/F a few weeks ago, we immediately inquired and decided that we should get one for Snowbell on our next visit :)

cute tags!

It only costs P155 and we only need to wait for 30 mins. You also get to choose the color and font.
After our movie trip, we placed our order, had dinner and went back again to claim this:

They ran out of pink color of that PVC like material so we just opted for white and then chose pink letters instead.

Baby Ellie's Birthday

I woke up early to help prepare our breakfast :)))

Then we drove to San Pablo, Laguna to attend baby Ellie's birthday lunch. Her mom, Juliet, is our college friend. It was a 2H drive, we were very early so we chose to stay at SM San Pablo at around 11AM, we left our house at 9AM.

It was a Hawaiian themed birthday party. We enjoyed watching magic tricks and the kids playing parlor games :))

@ Medy - Ser Farm

It was good to see again my college bff's Juliet and Arianne, they are my set of nerd friends ;p

When we drove back home, we passed by Collette's buko pie for pasalubong :)))

Happy Birthday Baby Ellie!

Rommel and Len's Wedding

My bff Len's wedding, we 've known each other since elementary :))))
We were at the reception at around 8am, I'm one of her bridesmaids and we needed to have our hair and makeup done early. I'm like seriously? 2PM pa ang kasal

I only ate 1 bread since 8AM , it was around 5PM when we were in the reception so I went for a take 2 ;p

This is one of the emotional weddings that we attended, the bride and her parents were crying at the church during her walk. At the reception, her father delivered a speech while crying too, and of course when someone is crying, my eyes cry on its own...

Best Wishes to the newly wed and congrats :)))

Movie Dates: Xmen, Edge of Tomorrow, How to Train your Dragon

X-Men: Days of the Future Past
X-Men Days of Future Past poster.jpg

We watched this in Galleria after having a free Greenwich chicken dinner (thanks to BPI promo) ;p

So we got to see Wolverine once again and the younger version of Professor X and Magneto :)))
Michael Fassbender is my favorite here and also Blink, the asian gal with the somewhat portal power.
This movie was surprisingly good bec. some of the previous XMen were really off for me. Maybe any movie that has something to do with time and space looks cool. And why is that future world is always depicted with chaos? ;p Anyhow, the movie was really enjoyable esp with some funny slo-mo at the start and then it gave us a thrilling ride and drama towards the end.

I have read some reviews prior to watching this that they don't like it in 3D. Well, for me 3D is only fit for animated movies. In some live action movie we saw, some view or characters appear too small or become too far in view so watching in 3D is no longer an option.

Edge of Tomorrow

Why watch? It's a Tom Cruise film! We may miss Angelina Jolie's Maleficent (we'll just watch it in Netflix or Google Play) but a sci-fi Tom Cruise film must not be missed!
I did not watch the trailer nor read the synopsis, and I have a not so high expectation bec. I'm not very fond of Emily Blunt so imagine my surprise that this turned out to be a wholesome and brilliant movie.
Basically, it has the same concept in Jake Gyllenhaal's Source Code movie only that this one has glamorous CGI effects and involved some out of this world creatures. We were also able to witness Cruise's character that begin with a normal person, scaredy cat, not combat trained and a clueless guy for a change.

We were able to get 20% discount ticket from Ensogo, P180 instead of P220 sumtin. We were surprised that Megamall cinemas are now good. There are "lazy boy"-like seats in front of the cinema we went in! (Cinema5) Cool!

How to Train your Dragon 2

We watched this one in Gateway bec we have some errands there. We bought tickets first, just a few minutes passed after we're there the line was already long (Independence Day holiday). We killed some time in the newly opened Uniqlo, we picked up some items but let go bec the line was just too long that it may take us more than 2 hours just to queue. We just then bought some foods from BK for our movie food.

This is one of our much awaited movie for this year. The first movie way back 2010 was just light for my heart but this one made me crylalooo!! I'm really emotional when it comes to pets, whether it is a mythical creature or not.

Thumbs up for this movie, Now we want to read the book.

For our next movie trip, we are looking forward to see The Raid 2 next week! :)))

Subic Day 2: Puregold Duty Free

After our morning activities that I already posted on part 1 here, we went back in our room to watch Spurs vs. Pacers game while waiting for our checkout time. Thank goodness Spurs won! \^_^/

2nd day OOTD. that's the printed leggings I bought from Divi that I mentioned here

I didn't buy any from Whiterock The Shop but they have good selections of tshirts, mugs and souvenirs of all sorts.
WhiteRock souvenir shop
We checked out at around 12noon and off we went to Puregold Duty Free :))
It was our chance to buy dark chocolates at cheaper prices \^_^/

I also got some pasalubong for my lil bro who looked after snowbell :)

and we tried this coke cherry flavor (lasang bubblegum)

And then there's S&R inside so we bought some food for takeout :)

Then we were ready for the 3.5 hours drive back to Laguna :)

As first timers in Subic, we were kinda nervous that we might get caught if we miss some traffic regulations (first one to stop, first one to go in intersections; stopping in pedestrian's lane etc ) and at the same time we're also amazed with the disciplined motorist who followed their traffic rules, I wonder why they can't replicate it here in Manila...

Until next time Subic! :))

White Rock Beach Subic

1st time @ Subic!

I am Mike's +1 in his work's teambuilding activity ;p
We left at around 6AM from Laguna (we need to leave Snowbell) and reached our destination by 10AM, almost 3.5 hours less the total of 30mins stopovers for coffee, gas and restroom.

Our room, we were told that all reserved rooms are good for 4 which means we have many pillows, blanket  and towels :)
This room is located in the main bldg, ok naman xa but no windows.

Toiletries - shampoo and soap only, no toothpaste

card key :))

After checking in, we applied sunblock and went out to strolled a bit.
It was burning hot out there we decided to swim at night or early next day.

This part with white sand is elevated at around 3 feet and then when you go down the sand is already gray.

OOTD: I bought this printed dress from St Francis Square.
Cute print!

You can buy souvenirs inside

Our meal stub

Lunch buffet

After lunch we stayed in our room and watched 47Ronin (maganda in fairness) while waiting for their activity.
I am expecting that they will have a line-up of activities for their team building so I kept bugging mike to
go out and check their schedule. After forcing him to call their HR, he was told that they don't have activity at all - free for all daw ;)))) But of course, I still urged him to go out with his colleagues, they played billiards, table tennis and also went swimming. I joined their swimming after dinner. We got tired and slept early around 10.

As for their food, the lunch was ok but the dinner and brekkie hmmm some were bland and not very tasty.
We even need to use the table salt :/ Pero ok na rin :))

Dinner buffet

Breakfast Buffet

Accdg to their website, our room cost P8600 with buffet meals included, cable TV, free newspaper, they have WIFI but only in the lobby area.

The next day, we went swimming after breakfast. We didn't bring our phones with us so I don't have photos of the waterpark. -_-

We went at the beach first and  tried the kayak for... 10mins? hehehe I'm scared kc lolz
We also tried the Giant wave pool  and the heated pool.
thanks Gary for this photo :)))
