Sunday at Divisoria

Next month of June, we're going to attend 2 weddings (I will be a bridesmaid again in one of the wedding:)) , we went to Divi today to buy M's pang-abay outfit.  I remember the last time we went shopping in Divi was 2009 pa.

We parked at Lucky Chinatown Mall at around 9:30, walked around (mall was still closed) then we ate an early lunch in Sincerity at around 10.

We ordered these huge Siomai (P80 for 5pcs) super sulit!, Garlic Rice (P70-large bowl) and their famous Sincerity Fried Chicken (P150-half).

It looks like an ordinary fried chicken but Wow it is really something. The breading is not thick but still very crunchy and the meat is soft and juicy. It is well seasoned that it is already good  to eat without sauce.

This is our first time to dine at Sincerity and we finally understand why their fried chicken is famous :)

Then we headed to Tabora St where we bought M's Barong, Vest, White Polo, Necktie - all for less than 1K :) We also bought other cheap finds along Ylaya St. before heading back to Lucky Chinatown mall. It was already hot and crowded along the streets so we decided to go home since we already bought what we needed.

My cheap finds: 3 for Php100 Slippers (bec. snowbell destroyed all my indoor slippers)

and this printed leggings for Php75

We decided to have a cup of milk tea before leaving the mall  at around 12 noon :)

Swimming Lesson at Swimplus Phil. Amateur Club

As a preparation for my first ever beach visit, I enrolled at Swimplus (Ultra venue) with M (It took me time to persuade him!) We both don't have formal lessons in swimming. I know how to swim with flutter kick then mga ilang dipa lang tatayo na ;p

We bought some of our swimming stuffs at SM Hypermarket (Sun and Sand/Sassa rashguards), Greenhills (Stoked Inc rashguards) and Speedo for goggles.

Day 1, M easily learned how to do the flutter kick with head out and there I am wondering how he did it
Our schedule was 2-4 PM every Sunday. 2 Hours seems like forever.

Day 2 and Day 3: We were taught how to do the breaststroke and backfloat

Day 4: Switch stroke - breaststroke to backfloat to breaststroke, where I failed (I don't know why I can't float) so I was transferred to Day 3 students, magaling pa yung mga bata sakin :/

Another funny scene was when we were told to try it sa malalim, when it was my turn, I'm so scared and told them "hindi ko pa po talaga kaya" kahit todo pilit ang coach at encourage pa ng encourage ang mga klasmeyts

I'm so nervous as our last session approaches. We practiced at our clubhouse pool for 2 days for about 1-2 hours each day

Day 5:  We were taught how to dive, freestyle and dolphin breaststroke.

Diving = tuloy tuloy ako sa kailaliman at natouch ko na ung floor, kinabahan ako ng bonggang bongga, tinulungan naman ako ni coach tumaas

We were also asked to swim 50 meters of breaststroke, and of course 1/4 lang ang ata kinaya ko but infairness kaya ko na sa malalim. yehey!

Finally, we finished our sessions! I learned my limitations, I'm still a bit scared  bec. I easily get tired so I need more practice to be able to swim 50 meters or 1 lap. Let's say I gained about 70% confidence in water :)) On the other hand, Mike easily learned everything and adik na ata siya magswimming ;p

Thank you Swimplus!

Labor Day Date: Swensens, Spidey Movie, Kebabers

We treated ourselves to Swensens ice cream at Eastwood Mall before watching the movie.
I ordered the chocolate hot fudge and green tea flavors while Coffee Mocha Almond for M.
I thought I can't finish 2 scoops of ice cream, it seems I can eat about 4-6 scoops ;p

Chocolate hot fudge

Green Tea

Just perfect for summer :)

Lookie meron din silang HaloHalo sundae!

Then amazing spidey movie time ;p

Well, what I can say is that it would be super amazing if without the torrid kisses :/
Every character performances were good and my fave would be Harry Osborn who really acts well as kontrabida. There were scenes that made me teary eyed and Spoiler : I'm quite happy that they let Gwen died here and didn't prolong the story. The way she died was also a very good scene and makes sense as compared to original story in the comics.

Afterwards, we had dinner at Kebabers at Eastwood Citywalk2, I had chicken shawarma and beef kebab for him. hmmm it taste like you're eating canned Maling lang :/

I remember that we're not able to wait until the end of credits as we hurried up to the comfort room na ;p
We just thought of searching it on youtube afterwards. But we stayed until the mid credit where they only showed the trailer of X-Men, which we are also looking forward to watch.
And oh the Maleficient trailer looks great, we might watch that too.
Lots of movies for this month!
